i have just noticed I have received 2 defects on my account for cancelled transactions. This was for 2 items of jewellery I bid on in error. I explained to the seller what had happened and they automatically refunded. Now I am told that because the seller chose not to send me a message before cancelling the sale I have been subjected to a defect.
I have contacted e bay live chat and the agent states it is because no communication has taken place which is rubbish on my part as I apologised profundly and there is even evidence of this in my e bay case report. I have no chance of appealing as e bay do not have an appeals process. Has anyone else been affected in this way? E bay seem to be giving out defects willy nilly!!!
