Frustratingly uncommunicative buyer

I feel like pulling my hair out. This particular buyer took nearly a week to pay for the item, only returning my messages the day before he paid. I messaged him yesterday telling him the parcel will be with him tomorrow between 9:00 and 18:00, and gave him a tracking number. Today comes and I’ve just tracked the item which basically states they attempted delivery but no one was home, and now they won’t reattempt delivery until Monday. I’m relying on the buyers feedback until I feel safe enough to spend the paypal funds he sent. How can someone be so goddamn nonchalant about an item they paid hundreds of pounds for? It blows my mind and frustrates the **bleep** out of me. Sorry, needed to vent.
