Why am I getting a error message when trying to send a payment true Friends and Family that says “recipient doesn’t accept payments using this payment method. Please choose another.”
I have sent money without any problems before.

Maybe the seller locked some type of payment method or some contry. Ask seller double check their setting at “Payment Receiving Preferences”, which is at “Profile” or “Settings” >“Selling tools” > “Getting paid and managing my risk” > “Block payments”… there are several payment methods they can block
Maybe your wrong, How are you initiating this payment… is it by clicking on the “Send Money” tab of your PayPal account? if so ask seller send you a PayPal “Money Request” or invoice. In some case, you MUST pay thru invoice, not by “send money” tab
Perhaps you could try sending him a PayPal “Money Request” or invoice.
