Transaction cannot be processed because the invoice has been updated, canceled…

I’m getting this error message repeatedly when trying to pay an invoice which is under $20 from a seller on a Buy/Sell/Trade page. “Transaction cannot be processed because the invoice has been updated, canceled, paid, or closed; contact the merchant for more information.” Seller has about 14 unpaid invoices because of this error. How to help them fix the problem?

Another question:

Having the same issue with a vendor trying to pay me and he has sent me 2 screenshots. It wont allow him to pay the invoice I sent him. Is there a solution to this issue? Is it not enough that we have to pay 2.9% in fees, but now we cannot even receive payment?? This needs to be fixed! This is my business!

Someone who paid for a non recurring subscription that expired and wants to buy a recurring subscription is getting this error from paypal. I dont know why and would like to get it working.

Answer for above questions:

Paypal has updated their settings a bit these days ( May 2015 ). They may be going through some problems. Id strongly advise to call their customer service number I’m sure they would have no problem talking you through how to fix it.
