I received an item from a business seller which arrived faulty. I contacted him immediately and sent photos of the fault. I requested return details for a full refund + return postage costs. He’s asked if I will send the item back using ‘return to sender’ method. There are a few reasons I’m not happy to comply. The first is that I won’t have any proof of posting. But the other is that because the package has been opened, using ‘return to sender’ would actually be minor fraud. Any advise?? I’ve never experienced this before on ebay.
