Buyer had wrong postcode in PayPal – asked for refund, I now find she has signed for item.

Idiot buyer had an invalid postcode on her PayPal address.

 

She opened an INR against me – item was sent recorded first class. It showed a week ago as ‘in progress’ that’s when I investigated her postcode didn’t exist. She asked to cancel transaction so I cancelled it saying ‘problem with buyer’s address’ which there was. Roll on to today and out of interest I put the tracking number in to find she has signed for the package yesterday (nearly two weeks after posting). I have sent her a polite email and invoice and have had no payment.

 

I cannot now open an unpaid item?

 

So I get a defect because she doesn’t know her own postcode, she gets a free item and I have to refund.
