Refund Request – No Refund Listing, Item as Described

Recently sold some new wellington boots on a listing with no refunds stated.


The boots were as described, but the seller has requested a refund, saying that they do not fit him and he thinks they are a women’s fitment. I listed them in the men’s footwear category (as I thought that may gain more views) but they are actually a unisex fit – they are not manufactured in different male/female fitments.


I obviously don’t want the hassle of having to refund, collect, relist, repack and so on and understand that as they are as described I do not need to, but my limited previous experience suggests that if I am given any sort of negative feedback, eBay will not be on my side.


What would anyone suggest?
