I sent an item via Hermes. The tracking shows that 3 consecutive delivery attempts have failed. I paid for a signature, so that probably explains why Hermes didn’t simply leave the parcel at the delivery address.
Seemingly , the fault is with the buyer, not Hermes – I’ve never experienced a non-delivery before and am unsure where I stand as a seller.
Alarmingly, the Hermes T&C’s state that after 3 failed delivery attempts the parcel can be ‘destroyed’.
I have had so far had no response from the buyer – so where do I stand if a not received dispute is started???
And how do I get my item back!?
