Not sure how money is refunded on a transaction cancellation

My customer used two different addresses when ourchasing three different items – same ebay ID. He wanted them shipped to one address, but when the print shipping label came up, it was for the wrong address. He had paid for the transactions and shipping. Ebay told me to cancel the transactions, then relist them with Buy Now. I did, and the customer purchased them again, but he says the original payment has not been refunded. He is waiting for the refund before paying again. I have sent the new invoice. I can’t find anyway to get help from the Ebay site through my Account. Help, please. What is supposed to happen so the customer get’s his money back?
