I recently saw an item on eBay for £190 and as the seller was only a few miles away and I could pick the item up in peron (the seller not having to incur a large postage for a heavy item) I offered £170 and it was accepted. All this was done through the eBay web site but I noticed that the Paypal listing price was still £190. Why did the Paypal price not reduce in line with the accepted offer amount? I ended up paying cash in hand.
